For God all things are possible

For God all things are possible

When we have lost in life’s battles,
When there’s no hope left,
Remember at all times,
For God all things are possible.

When there’s nobody around,
Neither a shaking leaf nor a small sound,
When everybody seems to have abandoned,
Remember for God all things are possible.

When you are old and your hairs grow grey,
When your children have left you astray,
And you think and seek the impossible,
Remember for God all things are possible.

When your mind doesn’t listen to you,
And you feel you are in a stew,
When your family and friends are not at bay,
Remember for God all things are possible.

When like Job your mind has doubts,
When you neither seem in or out,
When everything seems to have been lost,
Remember for God all things are possible.

When you have lost all hope,
And can’t catch hold of the tied rope,
Always think just one thing,
For God all things are possible.

When everything seems impossible,
To move on or to remain still,
When in life you can’t discern,
For God all things are possible.

When you are impossible,
God says I M Possible
At every stage in life to not forget,

For God all things are possible

Voice

Voice
Among the chirping of birds,
Among the stillness of trees,
His voice is heard,
In the presence or absence of  breeze

Among the silence of books,
Or the chillness of brooks,
His voice is heard,
In the slightest of looks

Among the cheery smiles,
Or the gaze worthwhile,
His voice is heard,
When you walk a mile.

Among everything
Or better nothing,
His voice is heard
In each and every thing.

Among the loud applauds,
Or the grazing clouds,
His voice is heard,
When you make your vows.

At seasons all
Summer, spring or fall,
His voice is heard,
In everything great or small.

In everything beautiful or dirty,
His great works are always mighty,
Again His voice is heard,
In scarcity or bounty.

Among abundance or less,
In neatness or a mess,
His voice is heard, nevertheless.

He calls out to you and me
To be as busy as a bee,
His voice is heard at all times,
When you are at a peak or in a valley.

Do you have the time today,
To be bold and say,
Your voice is heard Lord at all times,
When I am near You or nay.

Yes to His will

Yes to His will

I want to thank You Lord,
For everything great or small
Let my answer always be “yes” to Your call

Help me as I pursue life’s ways
To discern Your will
So that when You call me to be still
You have found me doing Your will.

And when you tell me to move on,
Let not a single day be gone
Without seeking You
When I am with others or by my self, alone.

When in happiness or anguish,
Let it be my only wish,
To always surrender to Your will,
Whether life shows me its plateaus or hills

2 days at Irene Aunty's house, Kenjar

It came about as a pleasant surprise to me...... I was feeling sick last Saturday and I remained at home without a clue as to how I would spend my day. Was resting at home when suddenly my sister-in-law called my mother-in-law. She asked about my whereabouts and invited me to Irene aunty's house. Irene aunty is my mother-in-law's sister. I was reluctant at first..... However, when my mother called me in the noon, she told me that I shouldn't miss a chance of going out.

Now, I am one of the laid back type of people. Somehow, I made up my mind and went to Irene aunty's house. In fact my brother-in-law dropped me there. Once I went there, I saw Irene aunty, her daughter and my sister-in-law busy preparing Kuswar for Christmas. I joined them. Saturday went on with preparing chakkuli and guliyo. In the evening, we had chicken with rice roti.

On Sunday, I got up lazily in the morning. After drinking the cardamom tea prepared specially by Irene Aunty, we started off our preparation of Kuswar for the day. I started with grating coconuts for chakkuli and laddu, while Iry aunty and my sister-in-law were grinding rice. Irene aunty's daughter was busy with other works like washing clothes and cleaning the house. We prepared laddu, chakkuli and khara kaddi.

But more than all this, what I enjoyed the most was the sunset by the river that evening. I called many of my close relatives as I was walking along the river bank and spoke to them. The river Phalguni was flowing smoothly. There were two boats harnessed with ropes. There were small fishes and slightly bigger ones too. How lucky is Irene aunty's family to stay close to the river. In fact my husband's house is also close to the river, but the waters near Irene aunty's house were inviting......

And to add to all of this was the sunset. During the past years of my life, I have witnessed several sunsets, but few held such an impression on me. Later that evening, we visited my co-sister's house which is close to Irene aunty's place. They too were busy preparing nevryo.

Last but not the least Santa Claus added hue to the day with his friends. I returned home the next day.

What I would suggest at this moment is whenever you get a chance to go out, make the most of it, else you might regret later.

A powerful thought that I came across today

Make today so awesome that yesterday gets jealous. Do everything today which makes you happy while not compromising on tomorrow. Yesterday is a great teacher, learn from it and do not worry about whatever bad happened as it is past and thinking about it only takes away today. Look ahead. Live every day.

Christmas

Some random thoughts in poetry

Mind is a tool you can use
For thoughts integrated and diffuse
Beware, for as you think so shall it be
Do not let your mind wander free.

A thought from here, a thought from there
Building castles in the air
Dream if you want while you are awake
It's good sometimes to put your life at stake.

Come out from your comfort zone once a while
Give others a reason to smile
Help them before it is too late
Because you do not know what is your fate.

There are highs, there are lows
Some too far, some too close
Swim the waters with ease
Before your breath will cease.

Growing old and growing up
See a reason to reach the top
But when you strike too low
It's time to forget and forego.
