Sometimes in life I do not know,
Why I erupt like a volcano,
And when the outer thoughts subside,
I am like a cool lake inside.
Was I like this before I met this disease
When will my inner warmth increase
To spread love without cease
So that my loved ones are at ease
My inner most thought I cannot express,
Everyone experiences their own thoughts the best
Be it at health or a disorder
None can rest unless everything is in order.
People like me take heart,
Express your feelings with art,
Or like me in poetry,
Choose something creative so that you may be free.
And when you know everything is not in order,
Do not use your disease as an excuse,
When people try to sympathise with you
Leave nobody any clues.
We look for empathy not sympathy,
That is what our slogan should be,
Be it in health or sickness,
Know that God and medicine will not leave you reckless.
If at any time you need a helping hand,
Remember before everything God is at hand,
The doctors and counselors, name them all,
Are instruments of God at His call.
Leave everything to time to heal,
Time the best healer comes with a seal,
To rescue you from any sickness big or small,
Leave it to time to heal it all.
But at the same time use your skills
To drink the milk before it spills
Never abuse any of your pills,
And keep faith in God, your doctor and yourself till your
disease stills.
